The Crusader Kings III's Flavor Pack "Northern Lords" & Free Update 1.3 ‘Corvus’ are now available!

Best known as fierce raiders from a land of snow and legend, the Norse were a complex society where loyalty was based on more than a noble bloodline. Leaders had to prove themselves as warriors, yes, but also as judges and governors.
Northern Lords is the first Flavor Pack for Crusader Kings III, one of the best reviewed games of 2020. It offers new events and cultural themes related to Norse society.

I bought the Royal Edition in the Paradox Store as a pre-order, but when I go to steam I notice that it doesnt seem to recognize it. How do I unlock this and Northern Lords as well?

When's the bigger, meatier DLC planned? May - June?
No news for now as we just only released our Flavor Pack.
As soon as we can, we will share these details with the community.

Where new cultures? Iceland, Farerars and etc?
I still wonder why the Haraldr Fairhair clan has not yet been taken to a separate Harfagre house (or dynasty)?
Why is the unification of the Slavic kingdoms (western and southern) into one under the first title realized, but the eastern do not have a similar solution? And why title titles do not correspond to historicity? In the Russian principalities there were no kings (his counterpart was the Grand Duke). Even the Vengers have the title Grand Duke, and the king of Russian culture
Must be > specific prince (count) > prince (duke) > grand prince (king) > tsar (emperor)

tbh I don't quite like the term prince either. Let them be called knyaz instead like they actually were!

knyaz is prince, it's just translated from Russian into English.
I know, I'm russian too :)
I just never personally liked the "prince" translation. It might as well be count/duke at that point. But its honestly not really that big of a deal to me just pointing out that if we are going full cultural immersion might as well use the cultural term instead of replacing one sorta generic translation by another.

In general, it is necessary to create a petition so that the draftsmen remove the title of "k i n g" from Russian culture and replace it with the Grand Duke (great knyaz), make ducal titles princes (knyaz) and make ordinary counts specific (inheritance) princes (inheritance knyaz)
Count (tribal - «воеводство/воевода» или оставить «вождество/вождь») (feudal - «удельное княжество/удельный князь»)
Duchie (tribal/feudal - «княжество/князь»)
Kingdom (tribal/feudal -«Великое княжество/великий князь»)
Emperor (tribal/feudal - «Царство/Царь», но оно уже так и есть)

I ran into a problem where every time I want to click on the decision to secure the kingdom of the high seas my game crashes. This happened four times already and I can't send a crash report for some reason.

Acutally the content was unlocked, but Steam still shows only the season pass on the games shop site. Technically I could purchase the DLC and the game itself again, because Steam doesn't recognize it for some reason, even though the game is unlocked and playable.

How much is it suppose to be Norse flavor pack rather than Northern flavor pack? I'm interested in how much other areas except Scandinavia in Northern Europe got reworked their stuff. Right now to me it seems only Norse culture?

Maybe you will find this useful.

Love all the new stuff, but quick question...how often should we be seeing viking adventurers? Literally every time I for the Kingdom of Ireland they come for a duchy 6mos-1yr afterwards with a troop level 3x mine.

Granted I've only tested this in 3 separate games, but it seems very frequent and I was wondering if this was the intent.

Thanks
