Hi everyone,

We have released Update 5 for Console at 10am CEST this morning.
The latter aims to fix the most important issues that you have raised this past weeks! We apologise for the delay in publishing this update, and we hope that you will continue to enjoy Crusader Kings III!

Changelog Update 5:
  • Fixed a crash issue occurring when saving the game on Xbox
  • Fixed a navigation blocker issue when selecting the disabled crown authority UI affecting Xbox Series S
  • Fixed a navigation issue that was preventing users to construct new holding on Xbox Series S
  • Fixed issue with corrupted map texts in Chinese and Korean languages

I haven't experienced these issues personally on PS5, but I am no QA.
If you encounter anything unpleasant please let us know in Bug Reports, with as many details as you can ; For example, the platform you are playing on with the most recent update.

The bug report forum is chock full of corrupted save on PS5 reports.

I have reported this bug numerous times on my PS5 once the crash happens. And there’s forum posts, Reddit posts, and Tweets at the developer reiterating the same. It’s by no exaggeration game breaking.

It’s frustrating because I’m purposely not playing the game because what is the point when my save is corrupted 100 or more years in? Hope they can address it at some point

Paradox have been informed that the save game issue is present on PS5 multiple times by numerous people. I have even emailed videos demonstrating the issue to Paradox.

Yeah, it’s complete bollocks that they aren’t aware of it. I’ve reported it multiple times myself, as have countless others.

I am pleased with the newest update. Haven’t put it down since the update. Will pop back in here if I find anything amiss. Thanks guys. Just get the PlayStation bros together and we should all have ourselves a good time

Maybe if your bug report page was set up for PS5 reports and not just MS and Xbox you'd see them as well. I've posted numerous bug reports that ive had to title PS5 cause your drop down choice doesn't have PS5

Where do you see Xbox on the bug report forum template? As far as I can tell, it only shows PC platforms (Windows/Mac/Linux).
 
Post this and last patch at least. PS5.

The Skills values for all characters are using the Stewardship value for both Stewardship and Martial stats for their results and effects. At the very least in the character display and interface presentation, but presuming it’s not just a display issue.

Are others seeing this too, or is it just me? This is kind of a big deal in my opinion and should be addressed as it really could impact gameplay and role play.

The Hook, Line and Sinker trophy is still unobtainable. I tried it out on PS 5 after the last patch but producing a weak and a strong hook on the same character is STILL not possible. It is still 0,00% on PlayStation. I really like this game but not being able to get the platinum trophy is really frustrating for me and I stopped playing it. Since the trophy system is a PlayStation issue, I might have to adress Sony/PS. Maybe they do some propper work.

The Xbox Crash issue is fixed and the save works now again. But, why did'nt they do anything about the PS5 corruptes Save issues?! Sorry for all e PS5 Users, but iI hope you get a fix too ASAP.
