Dear players, a patch for PS5 has just been released.


See the changelog below:


  • A series of memory optimisations have been implemented into the game that should reduce the number of crashes that players are experiencing.
  • Fixed a bug that would not allow players to navigate in the Retract Vassal menu.
  • Improved the visuals of the dimmer on the menus in the Retract Vassal.
  • Fixed an issue that caused advanced tooltips not to show in the Royal Court menu.

when are you going to solve this problem with the 3 bubbles??
otherwise you will refund my royal court!

Because it's unplayable on console with handling.

Still breaks the game on save. They had one job.

Still saves once a year despite setting to every month. Still doesn't show traits when choosing commanders. Still doesn't display court artifact branch of the tree of life, unsure if the stats attribute without display.

Has a new issue with naval ships not displaying correctly.

Added really nifty triple diamonds(?) to some menu options, but they mostly muddle the UI and make it harder to see when an option has a red X on it.

This is going swimmingly.

Edit: Limited play time before it crashed and I gave up, these issues are just off the top of the head.

Does anyone at paradox check lab42s work? If I can find this shit in minimal play time it truly boggles the mind that any of this made it to release. Especially since it crashed on it's third attempt at saving. Played 26 months of game time, crashed me back to month 14. More disappointed now than I was with your radio silence before the patch. Unreal

Edit 2: shortly after hitting save on the last edit, the audio stutter popped back up while the game was at idle. Forgot about the audio issues.

they're clowns i've never seen a game completely destroyed after an update it's a scam playstation won't refund me

I said it and I said it those two Xbox "patches" didn't fix a damn thing and in fact broke the game even more..sound bug FTW. PS5 patch is no different. False hope gentleman. This game is a lost cause check back in 3 months and MAYBE it will be fix.

Tried it again. Crashed in the same spot. 125 ish county empire in the 1040s. It's not like this is a massive late game empire. You should probably talk Sony into letting you slap a retroactive beta tag on this, it's not like your reputation on consoles will get worse.

I just wanna play some ck3. I have no idea about how long or how hard most of these problems are to fix but cmon if your gonna release a patch, patch all of it. not just a patch that makes it worse just like on xbox. I feel sorry for the people that spent money on this.

Auto save, crash. Manual save, crash. Halfway through the year no save believe it or not straight to crash. This is awful and the lack of communication is pathetic from this company I'm fed up of having to reload my game every 20mins because the game can't cope nor can it save. I can't get through a whole year without crashing.

Paradox are you even there? Are you looking at the reports that Sony has me send every 20mins because it sure as sh!t doesn't seem like it. So much progress is being lost because you broke the game completely. This is awful.

It took so long to even get a forum for console players and still you lack communication between players and devs.
