Greetings Commanders,

Our work to improve the current state of the game continues this Monday with the release of hotfix #2. We are still working on a few fixes and finalizing the patch notes, but we want to reassure you know that we’re continually looking into the issues you have reported to us.

We would like to highlight that in hotfix #2 we aim to address the problems with birth control in the domes, drones trying to get to places they cannot reach, and missing images for anomalies.

We expect the hotfix to contain more fixes than this, and we're currently testing solutions for multiple other issues. We're hoping to have fixes for the hazards not triggering correctly, and duplicate anomalies. We'll continue to monitor the progress of these fixes and are hopeful that they will be in Monday's hotfix, but it will depend entirely on our internal testing.

This is not the last hotfix we have planned for Surviving Mars, and we'll have more news on these closer to their release.

Some UI improvements (as seen in the picture) to be considered?

Not urgent as some of the other bugs, but certainly a good-to-have in the long run.

So will this, possible Monday fix, allow individuals, to edit the pre-loadout on Asteroid Landers? I noticed Asteroid Landers, won't even let, you take vehicles, or extra buildings, so a fix for that would be nice. I noticed, an odd anomalie on an Asteroid, before the first hotfix, came out, it was a weird looking, "Alien Rover", wouldn't have been able, to scan it, since Landers won't let you, take vehicles, kind of a bummer.
 
Is the fix for multiple events running up research bonus boosts being implemented? Holding off starting a new game as I've seen a couple games where those stacking bonus events just....ruined the game balance!

I've had no issues with rovers on Landers. Are you on the latest hotfix version and have you researched the relevant tech (Micro-G Vehicles)?

If you do, perhaps you could check other issues such as loading a missing prefab that's getting it stuck (for which this is a bug and it should not show "Ready"), or loading a RC transporter/drone that is loaded with unwanted resources, or having any resource loaded as a fraction by mistake (e.g. 4.95 instead of 5).
 
I am playing the new update, is fine to me. Maybe you dont have your game up to date

2. when setting the rules of the game for maximum cold and dust storms for 20+ sols, no frost and no dust storm

Will the lack of natural disasters and terraforming issues be fixed?
Without these fixes, the game loses its meaning.
Even the title contains the word "survival"
Can you elaborate on the terra forming issues?

I just bought the game and stopped playing because there are no disasters. I play with the special rules which max out disasters. No cold snaps, meteor showers, electro dust devils, or dust storms.

Really hope it's fixed soon so I can play.

Last hotfix dropped at about noon UTC, so still one and a half hours to go. And the only thing They've said is that it would come today, so there's still quite many hours left in the day.

And yes, I'm refreshing the page as well since I need my cold waves and dust storms for the game to be interesting...

EDIT: Still nothing, at 2pm UTC, come on!!! I was hoping I could get to playing Surviving Mars again after todays workday, but apparently not...

Hey everyone!

Unfortunately, the decision was made to slightly delay the release of this hotfix. We discovered a few last-minute issues with some of the fixes we planned to include in this patch. We will use this additional time for extra testing and making sure this release will not introduce any new game-breaking bugs.

Apologies for the prolonged wait, but the team ultimately felt like it is the right move in this situation.
