Howdy all!

Today we are releasing a Minor Update to the game to help with stability and performance. While this is not a major Update and should not affect saved games, we always recommend that you make sure you have a fresh game ready to go with a new version.

As stated, this is a relatively small Update, but also full of highly impactful changes reported by you in the Community! Here is the Changelog:

- Fix offer vassalization being slow if you had too many neighbors and vassals due to evaluating opinion too many times too slowly.
- Fix Out-Of-Sync issue
- Fix AI feud seduction targeting wrong spouse

As always, keep those reports coming and if you see anything unusual, please let us know HERE!

Thanks for the changelog!
Is there any ETA on a bigger patch?
According to Dev Diary #108:
As of the newly released 1.7.1, we’ve concluded the planned updates for this release, though if something significant appears, we’ll look into fixing it before the next update.
and
While we can say that Friends & Foes was the last paid content of the year, we’re hoping to have another smaller free update out before the year is over (no ETA for now). Additional clues about what we’re working on might appear over the next few months…

It is good that you fix the problems and bugs, even if it's just in babysteps.

Just please don't stop now, because there are still enough problems left, before you can start to break new things with 1.8.

can i play it with Version 1.7.1 or do i have to expect some issues? because i can not downgrade to 1.7.1
Yeah, I was looking to rollback to 1.7.1 as well (because I wanna continue playing with the mods I'm using) but the last rollback option available is "1.7.0 avx hotfix". I'm new to CK3 though, so I dunno, is this normal? Will 1.7.1 be available to rollback to soon?

The changes in 1.7.2 are so minor that it should not cause any kind of problem to continue a 1.7.1 save with it.

I've got CFP and EPE and I'm not having any trouble with the mods

im asking this cause, before i was playing in 1.6.0 and with 1.6.0.1 it crushed after 5 or more years, cause the minor update destroyed something. thats why im asking. and why you could before even "downgrade" from a minor minor upgrade but not now? it really confused me. I mean you could even rollback from1.6.1.1 or 1.6.1.2 or even to the 1.7.0 hotfix. but not to 1.7.1? It even gives you a warning before starting that its a wrong version but using the correct one is not possible?
And whats more important why can i not just disable the updates and install it when i want it, for example when I want to start a new game and not every f.. time when a minor update comes.

Edit: Finally i can downgrade to 1.7.1. shoulds be at the same time the update comes, just my opinion.

Really? If you had said between 1.6.0 and 1.6.1, then it would make sense (there were several additions that broke a few things between those versions). But between 1.6.0 and 1.6.0.1? That's extremely unlucky.

Still, you could just try 1.7.2 with a copy of your 1.7.1 save, run it at max speed, and see if it crashes eventually.
