Description
Witchcraft
Witchcraft mod introduces a lot of new content and an additional layer of gameplay for witch lords. It includes new events, items, decisions, interactions and rules related to the theme of witchcraft, including many fantasy elements and its own magic mechanics. Powerful powers and dark secrets await those who dare to reach for them...


New Opportunities
The mod comes with new lifestyle and two perks trees. The mechanics of developing trees are made according to a different philosophy than other lifestyles. Each tree requires unlocking the associated focus, with unlocking the Sorcery tree may be a challenge. True magic is a powerful tool, but only a few are able to wield it.


Magical Artifacts
There are eight magical artifacts in the world that can open the way to true magic and endow you with unique powers. Remember that such an item is priceless to every witch, and many of them want to acquire it at any cost.


New Threats
Being a witch is not easy. Even in vanilla, in most places in the world it is stigmatized and can be a reason for imprisonment and execution. Now witches also have to face witch hunters and other witches, including ruthless sorcerers. Using powerful magic can also attract the attention of the inhabitants of the abyss... Be prepared for further dangers, both physical and magical.

I'm afraid the only serious challenges you have left are those from the base game (which are probably easy to beat with magic).
I'm still thinking about how to raise the difficulty level even more, but at the same time I don't want to overdo it either.
In the near future, I am planning some amendments to the mage duel. The current system in late-game, when you have a lot of Power Clash bonuses, doesn't work well. This should also make Al-Hazred a tougher opponent.

Played the new version with the new adds, once again, real nice work, easily my favorite mod!

Recently defeated and murdered Al-Hazred in a mage duel, and Bael is out of the game too. Is there any big deal I have to wait for at the moment?

It's a little strange, since the other activities (Grand Rite) work for you, but on the other hand, maybe that's really the reason. Mage Summit is a little different from the other activities, maybe that makes a difference.

Actually, I can't even find that Mage Summit activity button in the game. It only pops up as a notification and doesn't show up in the activity window. It could be because I don't have the TNT expansion pack, as you mentioned.

Magic triangulation is only for locating artifacts, although if you're greedy and ambitious, it can give you a claim on an artifact one time - and from what you say, that's the opportunity you used.
Well, a claim on an artifact can be 'bought' for yourself if you have the right perk from the diplomacy tree, but it's even easier to use the search for magical artifacts activity, available to true witches (although this way won't necessarily always work). There are other ways too, in general I recommend reading the FAQ ;)

@ryciebani666, so possibly dumb question here -- last playthru I managed to get all the artifacts (after 150 years) and obviously stole most of them or challenged the owners for them. New playthru when I do the location of artifact spell I only get the option "I better keep my eye on them" with no option to set a steal plan in motion. Is there something I'm missing here somehow? I've maxed out the mage/witch trees, can summon demons, can travel to another world etc and am the uber mage, but don't know how to get the artifacts other than by declaring war on the current holder (which I haven't tried, since some of them are in the ass-end of the world).

To be honest, I haven't checked how it works without DLC, but I don't think it's a problem. Perhaps T&T might be needed, since it's the one that introduced the activity mechanics. Still, I think it's either a bug or mod incompatibility.

It's confirmed that it's unrelated to the Grand Rite. That's troublesome. Shouldn't it work even without DLC? I've purchased the Fate of Iberia expansion pack.
